La Casa del Habano™; is an international franchise that brings together 160 shops in more than 60 countries and 120 cities, with a boutique concept or shop specialising in the exclusive sale of Habanos, which has made it an international reference.

The franchise is identified with a brand and corporate image registered by Corporación HABANOS, S.A., world leader in the sales of PREMIUM Cuban cigars under the most famous tobacco brands in the world: Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, H. Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Trinidad, San Cristóbal de la Habana, among others, which you can find in our chain of shops La Casa del Habano.

The concept of La Casa del Habano™ created by Cubatabaco (later Habanos SA), has the clear objective of showing the consumer the Habano in an exclusive environment, in optimal conditions of conservation and presentation of the product, where the sales force has to have a high level of professionalism and knowledge in the culture and sale of Habanos, all this, in order to offer a personalised treatment to the customer, and a culture of service to the smoker. In the network of La Casa del Habano ™ franchise shops, the customer will find specialised advice on how to acquire cigars, and so that the amateur customer can get into the culture of the product, at the same time, it has personalised spaces where the customer can leave their cigars stored, under the strictest control of quality and conservation of the product.

The first La Casa del Habano ™ was opened in November 1990 in Mexico in the Hotel Zone of Cancun, Quintana Roo, by a group of Mexican businessmen who were passionate about cigars. From then on, the experience spread to other cities in Mexico and later to other countries, including Cuba, which has an extensive network of Casas del Habano.

The franchise was conceived from the beginning and remains to this day, as a place where the customer, whether a smoker or not, can find the best advice for the purchase of cigars and accessories for smokers, and also a meeting place and public relations between people of different religions, political affiliations, sexes, etc., where they come together for a common reason, the enjoyment of the HABANO, an exclusive product, with denomination of origin, and family traditions, handmade by expert cigar rollers, with raw materials grown in the land of the best tobacco in the world, CUBA.
